Jiyuan Holdings Accelerates Expansion in the Two-Piece Aluminum Can Market, with Guangdong Base Running at Full Capacity to Meet Beverage Season Demand
As the summer beverage season heats up, Jiyuan Holdings Co., Ltd., a leading metal packaging manufacturer in China, is ramping up production at its Guangdong aluminum can facility to meet surging demand. The company’s two-piece aluminum can production base – Guangdong Jiduobao Co., Ltd. – is now operating at full capacity, marking a significant milestone in Jiyuan Holdings’ strategic expansion into the high-growth aluminum packaging segment.
Commissioned in 2016, the Guangdong facility represented the Group’s formal entry into the two-piece aluminum can business, complementing its long-established three-piece tinplate can operations. With an annual aluminum can capacity exceeding 2 billion units across all its production bases, Jiyuan Holdings has positioned itself as a key supplier in China’s fiercely competitive metal packaging industry.
“Our Guangdong base is running at full utilization to ensure timely delivery for beverage brands ahead of the peak summer season,” a company spokesperson said. “The shift from traditional packaging to lightweight, recyclable aluminum cans is accelerating, and we are proud to support our customers with advanced, high-efficiency production lines.”
The Group’s aluminum cans are used for a wide range of beverages, including beer, carbonated soft drinks, fruit granule beverages, and ready-to-drink coffee. Major customers include Kirin Beer, Zhenzhen Beverage, Pukou Fruit Granule Drink, and other leading names in the food and beverage sector.
Jiyuan Holdings has invested heavily in state-of-the-art equipment imported from Europe, Japan, and the United States. The Guangdong plant features high-speed two-piece can lines capable of producing multiple diameters and heights, offering brand owners flexibility in can design and size.
Industry analysts note that the two-piece aluminum can market in China is benefiting from rising consumer demand for portable, resealable, and environmentally friendly beverage packaging. Aluminum cans are infinitely recyclable, and major beverage corporations are setting ambitious targets for recycled content – a trend that plays directly to the strengths of manufacturers like Jiyuan Holdings.
“Running at full capacity is not just about meeting current orders; it signals strong underlying demand,” added the spokesperson. “We are already evaluating further capacity expansions to stay ahead of the curve.”
With a heritage dating back to 1993 and a track record of serving blue-chip clients such as COFCO, JDB Group, Nestlé Coffee, Yinlu Group, and Dali Foods Group, Jiyuan Holdings continues to strengthen its position as a diversified metal packaging powerhouse. The company’s Guangdong facility is expected to remain at high utilization through the third quarter, driven by replenishment orders from both existing and newly acquired beverage brands.
